Default Cleaning the back window

Planning a trip from Regina to Vancouver and then on to Seattle. Detailed the car in and out, ceramic wax etc. Did all the interior glass, but the back window is crazy to get to with the rear headrests in the way! Do I have to put a towel on the rear shade and put it up and down?. First big trip. Put a bug screen on the grille and driving locally, it doesn't seem to affect the front cams as the mesh is very fine. Will have to try on the highway with cruise and see.

They get dirty all the time, especially with the off gasing from plastics in new cars. It's one of those things that one doesn't notice until the sun hits it at the right angle and, for many of us, our OCD kicks in. I was able to recline my read seats and backhand get to the bottom, but I sometime use a window cleaning wand (plastic handle with a cleaning pad on it). I then put a window specific microfiber on top of the pad for the final wipe down.

Thanks for the tip. The off gassing from plastics is what necessitated cleaning the other windows. I will look for that wand!

off gassing from leather as well, especially for those of us who apply leather treatment. It's horrible after applying said treatment to the front dashboard as the front windshield gets gummed up quick

that said, i've never cleaned the rear one. I don't think I look out the back much as I typically default to the camera

that said, my ocd is now...there. So will take a look...
