I've used this one for my A4 and RS5 and video quality is really good. It helps that it looks factory so nobody can tell they are on camera, plus it grabs power from the mirror directly so no messy wires to run everywhere.

I don't follow. Are you saying that the insurance company won't pay for a "Hit and Run"? So what do you expect me to do? Catch the guy with the "Citizen's Arrest" thing? Danger aside, is that even legal for me to pursue when I am not the police? I am not sure what you meant. Can you clarify?

The Universal Traffic Recorder.
After reading lots of reviews, the only advantage I could see was the neat mounting behind the rear view mirror.
For everything else, including value for money, Blackvue and some others are better.

the insurance company still wants me to pay for the deductible as they don't have the other driver's insurance to go after, and since it costs less than that to fix it doesn't make sense to go through insurance in this case(I haven't asked if I make a claim whether it will increase my insurance cost next year but it wasn't really worth the time at that point)
I believe some companies look on not my fault as an issue. Way they see it is that you are more likely to have a claim, at fault or no.

Some places it isn't legal to have anything obstructing the glass. Something to consider if you are sticking it onto the glass.
