After a year and a half owning my ultimate driving machine 2019 A8L. I found nothing needed to be improved except watching my sister's Q5 doing the parallel parking with the park assist, I need to have this since this car is long, I'm not a bad parker, but I had to maneuver a few times in tight spot, the park assist would do it in one.
I'm researching now and I found all we need is a button and VCDS coding. I found the button is about $150 and VCDS I have. So, I'll retrofit this one.
All A8L have all the sensors needed to do this as I understand.
Kufatec sells the button and OBD2 coding for $750. Not sure what else that cost that much.
I'll code the car before buying the button, if someone has the procedure to replace the original button, please post for me to follow.

I do not believe all A8s have the requisite sensors. I doubt mine does. I did not buy the advanced driver assist package as I may have a radar detector and laser jammer....

Yeah, everything I've read sounded very confusing. I'll go to the dealer and check on the sensors of the 2022+ with IPA to see what mine was missing. I'll do the coding before I buy the button. There are quite a few version of the button too.
If we have the cross traffic sensors then we should be good. Mine has it. Corner Sensors.

OK, First thing first, I didn't know A8L can have Maneuver Assistance turned on. I coded the Maneuver Assistance and it works beautifully, I don't know why Audi didn't give it to the flagship. Anyhow, I checked with all the websites on Intelligent Parking Aid and my A8L seems to have everything all features.
The software of Driver Assistance is currently 0295 and the hardware end with AR.
The brake is ESP9 Premium.
The car has ACC, 360 Camera, 12 sensors.
Maneuver Assistance is amazing. But after coded everything and it's working, now I don't have pre-sense, emergency assist and lane departure. I'm sure there must be some codes needed when I turned on the Maneuver Assist and Intelligent Parking Aid.
The Adaptive Cruise didn't work, but some how I fixed it. This is a must for my wife to drive, she turns it on every time she drives.
Turn on the rim protection but it didn't seem to work.
