Sunroof Drains

Having a problem with water collecting in the sunroof area by the front pillars on the right and left side. After a heavy rain you can actually see the water at the edge of the glass part of the roof where it meets the sunroof. No water is entering the interior of the car. If I drive the car, make a hard right turns the water exits along the driver's side in the area where the roof meets the windshield to the sunroof. You can actually hear the water moving around while making turns. Had the car serviced and was told by the dealership that there were no drains in the front part of the roof it was a sealed section. I find it hard to believe Audi engineers would not but drains in this area. Does anyone know if there are drains in the front of the roof, can they be cleaned, and does anyone have a technical diagram. I tried to get that information from Audi customer support along with a diagram, but they said ask the dealership.

Take it to another dealership. What your dealership told you is not true. Something is preventing the water from draining properly and a competent tech will easily fix this.

sorted on mine, blocked drains next to the wipers on the front of the car. Inserted weed cutting wire down the holes and opened the drains clogged by dirt and dead leaves etc. problem solved 👍🏼
