USB port always ON
Hi you all,
to have internet connection I have in my AUDI A8L 2023 a simcard hotspot mobile router.
This tool works with batteries or connected to USB C port.
Unfortunately everytime I switch off the car the port is switched off too and the hotspot battery drains out in 2 hours.
this means that I have to switch it on again everytime I jump on the car. Annoying....
On the old Maserati the USB port in the rear tunnel was always ON so the Hotspot router stays always connected and always ON (the power consumption is ridiculous so it doesn't represent a risk for the car battery.
It seems to me that there are not always ON usb ports, but there is a way to get one always powered?
In alternative a cigarette lighter port can be a good solution with an additional cigarette lighter charger.
Please if someone has a solution let me know!
