I have just 2000 miles on it and not one issue. The car has been a complete pleasure to drive, with the only frustration being no wireless carplay. I know, first world problem. But my other cars all have wireless carplay, so a car at this level should absolutely have it. Apart from that, just a great car. So I'm very pleased with my decision so far.

The A8 does have wireless carplay. Make sure that this function is also activated on your iphone.

It is activated, and has no problem connecting to my other 3 cars. I've been to my dealer twice, and they can't get it to work. iPhone 15 Pro. (And my wife's iPhone 14 also can't connect.) If I'm missing something (and the dealer too), not sure what it is. I've tried every solution and Audi NA says they are working on a software fix. Given that my other cars (Macan, 911, and GMC Denali 1500) all work flawlessly with my phone, I'm stumped.

Wireless Carplay works on my 2023 S8 about 6 or 7 times out of 10. About 3 or 4 drives out of 10, the phone fails to connect wirelessly. I have a USB cable hanging out of the arm rest so when my Carplay does not connect I can plug it in directly. Usually that works, but sometimes even the wired connect won't work. Turning the car off and on again usually resolves my connectivity issues.

Anyway, the MMI in this car is junk. BMW, Mercedes, and older Audi all work better than this. My R8 has no issues connecting to my phone.
