1989 audi 100 dash light

1989 audi 100 dash light
I have a light come on in the dash randomly. I have a picture of it in my "Garage". It only seems to come on when I'm low on gas but it doesn't look like it has anything to do with refueling. Also, when I try to switch my parking lights on, my headlights come on dim. Any ideas why?

Wrong forum. This forum covers '92 thru '97 A6s and the '98 A6 Avant (C4 platform). Your '89 100 is a C3 platform, which is MYs '84 thru '91. Post on the 5000/200/V8 forum.
