Which is more fun to drive? I found a 1990 200Q with a 5 speed that is for sale for about $2,000 and a 1998 a6 quattro wagon for about $4,000. The wagon would seem to have more utility but with less power and an auto. What are your thoughts?

yeah, it's slower, but more reliable. You'll be happier in A6.

Unless the wagon has a zillion miles take it! Much more refined and modern.

Each car has approximately 140,000 miles. I am not crazy about the automatic. It is a shame they stopped selling manual wagons here.

If you're feeling adventurous you could put in a 5 speed from a 100 or even A4 2.8 perhaps...?
