Default 1991 Audi 100 - Oil pressure too low indication

Dear Friends -
Recently i have purchased a 1991 AUDI 100. While i am driving, i am getting an indication beeping all the time saying "engine oil pressure too low" do not operate the vehicle. But the meter reading shows that engine oil level is fine and within the suggested limits. I have checked the engine oil level and its fine. Is this an indicator malfunctioning or real problem inside the engine? Can any one help me finding the quick solution?
Thanks in advance.

Default There is nothing wrong with your oil/lub system, it is a problem in the instrument cluster.....more.

This is a common problem with the AutoCheck system inside the instrument cluster. Remove the instrument cluster, dissasemble the rear PC board, and resolder the solder connections. When the car gets older, many of these solder joints get hairline cracks. Easy to fix.
