Ok, my timing belt broke in my 1994 Audi 100s. The shop I took it to, Zinda and Sons in Vancouver, Washington, says that it is an interference engine and that would make the repair extremely expensive.
However, someone that was going to buy the car from me said he looked into it and it is a non-interference engine meaning it repair would be significantly less. Here is the website that he sent me saying that it is the non-interference engine, Click here
Anyone know anything about this? Who should I believe?

he obviously has some wrong information.
A cheap way to fix your problem is to buy complete heads from a junkyard. It may take a little time to find them, but they'll eventually show up. They show up in my self-service junkyards about every month or so...fwiw.

Usually. Not always. Did the belt slip or break? If it skipped a few teeth, it may have no damage (and no/little compression). BTDT.
