Default 1996 A6 Radiator Fan not working

I believe this may be the thermo switch but I am not sure where to find it in the 1996 A6 Sedan. I am a novice and was told it is on top of the intake but I do not know how best to get at it or where to look. I was told it is blue with 4 wires coming into it.

Any help is appreciated!

Default The radiator fan switch is low, on port side (L) of radiator...

it just unplugs, no locks or keys, and unscrews. No magic here. However, it will stop working when your ignition switch sticks (ie "breaks"). In fact, I flushed my cooling sys through the fan switch, it is the best place, easy to reach and large opening.
