Hello. When I purchased my 92 100 I noticed that there was a dummy switch where there is supposed to be a Rear Fog Light switch I believe. I have a foglight switch which illuminates but I believe it was designed in case an individual where to ever add after market OEM fog lights (this model didn't come standard only CS model)My question is whether I am supposed to have that rear fog light switch there or not. The gentleman I bought the car from did micellaneous funny things to the car and I am tracking down his paths.
Note: I looked under the paneling in the lid of the trunk and there is indeed a rear fog light all wired in there, bulb and all, ready to go.
Can anyone shed any light on this situation for me? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Turn your lights on. Activate the switch. Then go around back and you'll see the left lense illuminated as brightly as if the brakes were applied. If this doesn't happen, you may have a burned out bulb. This brake light feature dates back to at least 1986.

Word. I did this and discovered that somehow the bulb had exploded and melted the inside of the enclosure. I will replace and work on fixing the enclosure not sure how this happened but I will be fixing the item.
Another simple question, what does the switch look like on the fog lights for the front as opposed to the rear foglight? How does one differentiate? Thanks

The switch light for the rears is orange -- the switch light for the front is green. When the rear is activated, it automatically activates the front lights. Not so vice versa...
