i was looking around for o2 sensors today and got all kind of prices. walker o2 sensors seem to be the cheapest ones starting at 40$ universal 3 wire splice and then 74$ audi style... i guess the difference is on the audi version that the connectors are allready on it. ill think ill go with the universal and have em spliced into the old wires. how many sensors does the aah have? the 2 on the firewall side of the engine only or also 2 more close to the converter? i have a walker exhaust system on my corolla (yeah i know) but they give me lifetime guarantee on it same with the o2 sensors. its 100K miles which should be more than enough to have em ruined for new ones. bosch sensors come more expensive but is there a big difference?<ul><li><a href="http://oxygensensors.com/index.php?ref=Google">o2 sensor</a></li></ul>

You need only two O2 sensors for the 100 models as they are OBDI. Go to the link below for two universal Bosch O2 sensors. You simply cut and splice them in. The O2 sensors are located on the exaust manifolds. You will also need a deepwell socket or "o2 sensor" socket.<ul><li><a href="http://Bosch%20O2%20Sensors">http://catalog.eautopartscatalog.com/taylor/quote.jsp?header=header.jsp&footer=footer.jsp& amp;product=13913&partner=taylor&baseurl=h ttp://www.taylorautomotive.com/&clientid=taylorautomotiv

Darn....the link is broken. Go to the site below and type the number 13913 in the part # search area. The sensor you want is the first one out of the three listed.<ul><li><a href="http://Bosch%203-wire%20universal%20sensor">http://www.taylorautomotive.com</a></li></ul>

i'm not sure of the part number but bosch has one where you cut off the leads and splice them into your system. make sure you solder the wires and cover with shrink wrap.
also, you can "rent" the o2 tool at autozone. i'm not a fan of autozone when it comes to parts, but the price is right on there rentals.... it's free!. i don't think you need to buy anything at all. just go in and give them a deposit. you get it all back when you return.

Don not get non-Bosch sensors! I have heard bad stuff about using them. I didn't want to splice at first either but decided it was the way to go. Just take old one out cut the three wires and use butt connects the connect the harness to the new sensor. After that put heat shrink tubing over the connectors.

But I went to BoschUSA and the site tells me that the universal sensor that fits is "15735" - but none of the online stores seem to have it!
