my 92 100s just started some shifting problems, mostly within the first 5 miles of driving but sometimes it happens anytime. when shifting for either 1st to second or 2ond to 3rd, not totaly sure which one,cause I can't make it do it. it will go to like neutral. rpms go up then it drops in gear, it is not slipping but it is the shift point that is sticking, i have 130k on the car and have not changed the fluids, have heard good and bad on fluid changes. i will probalby get a filter and clean the valve body any suggestions or dangers here??????

had same problem with 1990 audi 100 transmission got transmission conditioner from pep boys after 150 miles of driving shifting problem is gone now i need to change the fluid and filter there are many good transmission conditioner fluid in the market hope this will help you problem

i drove it bit this weekend and have found it only does it when you ease on the gas very slowly, if you hammer on it or accelerate faster it shifts fine, but a real slow start it may not go into 2ond gear, it hits neutral for a second
