92 100s has anyone converted their AZB tranny to the CDT?
my 92 100s needs a tranny, I have the one with sport mode AZB which I believe is the 097 tranny. has anyone converted to the ZF4hp18 which is the CDT? this one does not have the sport mode, so I assume the wire harness is different, I know the plug at the tranny is not the same, so I also assume the computer is different. I ask this sincy I have a buddy who runs a salvage yard and I can get a tranny for $75, and should be able to get the computer as well, the ZF trannies have complete parts availible the AZB does not.
any thoughts? how about axles and mounts? any ideas
