'92 1C Ventilation Filter?
I have a musty odor when I turn on the climate control vents, and I assume that there is some sort of filter that needs to be cleaned/changed. Does anyone know the location of this filter?

In plenum chamber behind the fresh air blower.
You need to take of the plenum chamber cover, the wipers and the cover under the wipers. It is 30 minutes job.
BTW the filter installed on non-US cars only. I have installed it myself. If you have US model most likely you do not have the filter and the odor caused by something else. For example by leafs (or a dead animal
) in the plenum chamber.
