92 Bose Cassette player prewired for CD Changer?
According to the specs posted here about the 92 CS, the Bose stereo system is prewired for a CD changer. However, looking at the controls, there really are no controls on the front unit mentioning CD functions (like disc change, track change, etc), and the manual for the Audi/Bose radio doesn't mention CD inputs at all.
Did 93's or 94's come with different Bose head units capable of having a CD changer installed, or can I find one to install on my 92 Bose system while keeping the factory setup? Thanks!!!!

Mikesho doesn't know what he's talking about. The way my '92 100cs is setup is there's a "sound-feeder" near the stereo that sends an RF (radio frequency, for the layman) to the unit (mine's at 88.7 I think). If you ask me, well, even if you don't ask me, it's a lame setup because the sound quality sucks and we musicians hate that crap.
So, like I said, the setup sucks, but that's how it goes. So, in theory, you could purchase a similar setup or take one off an old car. But as far as the "connection" goes, I don't think one actually exists on the stock radio. I'm not 100% sure though, as I haven't taken my center console apart yet.
