Hello all,
My wife was complaining that her 96 A6 Wagon is extremely hard to turn the key in the morning. Is there any fix for this, lubrication? or is it time for replacement?

Just have to wait until it break? Is this part $35 in dealer? Do we have to replace the key?

It's prolly already broken. No you don't have to replace your key. It's just behind that part.

The one on my 97A6QA broke at about 65K miles. Cost about $150 for dealer to replace.

to change please check with audi dealer 1996 year had recal by audi for bad ignition switch replacement hope this helps
