I have a '96 A6 that seems to have plenty of battery power
I can hear the fuel pump when I turn the igntionkey but after that nothing
Checked fuses which seemed good
I wonder if it the starte allthought I don't recall it sounding like it was failing
. This seems almost electronic. Ignition switch was repalced a few years back and hasn't given me trouble
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

It occurred to me that the car had done an odd thing a few weeks back . i came out to find that it had locked itself on a couple of occasions.
One time with the keys inside...
would this indicate a locking module failure?
Is there a way to bypass this system so the starte will engage?
