Default 98 C4 A6 Avant - V6 Auto - shudders on acceleration, especially going up hill
I suspect the problem is with one (or more) CV joints, e.g. left front, or the drive shaft. Sometimes the shudder is accompanied by metallic tinkling, e.g. CV joint, but when I checked the CV joint boots they look fine. How can I diagnose the source of the problem?

Shudden in a tight turn? Like wheel locked in a parking lot? If so does it shudder more turning one way than the other? Is the car AWD?
