Default My 97 has the bigger 10mm bolt.

I actually got the 8mm on the first rack I bought and the mechanic told me that my rack has the 10mm bolt. The first rack was from a 100 not an A6. I'm guessing the old racks for the 100's had the 8mm and the A6's has the 10mm. I owuld bet your 97 like mine should have a 10mm bolt.
