Default After installing a cone air filter ...

i start thinking of a shield that will protect it from the hot air. Does anyone know where I can buy one? Or maybe have an idea of fabricating one.

Thanks

Default what I did

I used tube that I got from lowe's to make a cold air extension. Ran it from my front grill, to the opening of the air filter.

It made a noticable difference. When you are moving the cone is getting cool air from outside, it only really gets hot when you are at idle.
