Aftermarket cat converter experiences
Interested to hear from others who have converted from dual to a single aftermarket cat converter...
and which brand (Magnaflow, etc.?) you may have used.
Had mine done ('95 A6 OBD1) about 2.5 years ago. Has actually worked fine with a bit more of a throaty tone.
Now, the no name generic cat is developing an annoying rattle. Seems like a short life.
Will probably replace it again this summer but would like to hear what others have found.
