Has anyone ever had a problem with the clutch on the AC? or changed the clutch? My Bently shows the assembly, but it doesn't refernce or show any bearing, which is the crux of my problem. With the serp belt off, it rolls free, but makes noise. Audi wants about $350. for the clutch assembly which I am not sure that I need. The clutch works fine and the AC works. It's just noisey free wheeling.
Bently specifically says to not open the refrigerant and to simply take it off the bracket and work on the clutch while it is still connected. This seems impossible, given the little room on the V6. Can this actually be done?

Can the clutch be taken apart to allow just the bearing to be replaced? If I don't have to pay $350 for a new clutch and can replace just the bearing, that would help my financial situation greatly.
Do you know where I could get an exploded view of the clutch?
