air conditioning squeak

After a little while operating the a/c, the fan makes a disturbing squeaky noise. Only solution is to shut off the a/c, impractical in hot weather. Restart the a/c after 15 minutes is ok, but the squeak restarts again 10 minutes later. What to do?

Replace the blower motor, mine does the same thing.

Sometimes if you manually increase or decrease fan speed it will go away.

Mine does it once or twice a Summer. I've been meaning to replace it, but I've got other problems. Wife's evaopator replacement:
