Any advice on valve cover gasket?

Default Any advice on valve cover gasket?

Doing the VC gaskets soon. Any advice?

Make sure you torque them properly upon reinstallation or they will leak. 10 Nm (7 ft lb).

clean the surface really good and put a small dab of rtv in the sharp corners

Are the RTV beads go on the valve cover or on gasket or on the head???

Default thin layer on the head just in the tight corners,

it should not bleed out when torqued down, if it does you put too much
