The only times Audi uses are for warranty repairs. For customer pay, they either use something like Mitchell or shoot from the hip. If someone has a Mitchell quote that might be the best estimate you'll find.

I replaced the ignition switch on the 97 today, and am planning on trying to get labor time and part cost out of the dealer where I got it. Was looking for a baseline number, although it took me 2 hours start to finish. Tougher to do on an auto car than a manual car from what I've read.
But I like your idea, I hadn't thought of that way to make extra cash..... :-)

BTW, charging the dealership back is a MUCH better idea than trying to charge teh wife.
BTW, I started to install the Phatty in the A4 (finally) but got distracted. Maybe tomorrow. I'd like to get it going soon.
