Anyone Adjusted Front ABS Sensors?

My sone hit a pothole pretty hard with the right front tire(it was either that or the impending head-on collison at 30mph)and in addition to a vibration in the wheel(stick on wheel weight gone?), the ABS orange light is on . the last time that happened(the light), a local mechanic adjusted the ABS sensor or alitgned it or something. I can't find anything in the Bentley that even remotely details how to adjust these little buggerrs. Anyone don this or have any ideas what sort of gap is necessary?
Thanks

I don't think they adjust! They work or not! But they do get dirty and malfunction. So pull it out clean it off and put it back in! Or you may have one that went FUBAR on ya! Time for a new one!!

I'd borrow a VAG-COM and reset the light. The sensors are "adjustable" in that they can be slid in and out of their bores in the knuckle. Generally, a sensor that is not fully seated will give you a stutter just before stop, not an ABS light.

and stuck to the top of the sender.
Clean it and see what happens.
I do not think you need to VAG-COM it to put the light out for ABS, but see what others think.
