Default Anyone else have dreams about their cars?

I am feeling kinda silly, but its been happening more and more often.

It really sounds odd to have a dream about getting ahold of a buffer and really detailing my car... but it actually is a really enjoyable dream

I have had even stranger ones, like a dream about deciding what mod to do next.

On a side note, I have been playing around with the Gtech Pro.. mainly doing HP while I drive around town (still trying to find a good place to do 0-60).
Works pretty well, input the weight of the car (on the side door jam) + my weight and maybe 5-10pounds for the subs in back..

start going and when you stop it says the highest HP you hit.

Going from redlights and stop signs, the highest I have gotten was 160hp, which makes sense considering I wasn't flooring it all the time, and the auto-tran is going to take some hp.

Default 160hp would be very good to get at the wheels of our cars... if that's what it measures

You're not entering the GVWR are you? GVWR is about 1,200lbs more than the curb weight. I'd take curb weight, add fuel, add driver, and go from there. Scott weighed his, I think he said 3,660lbs or something. GVWR is 4,800+.

Oh and no, I don't think I've ever had a dream about my car, just a nice wide grin that lasted about a year.

Default hmm.. my door sticker said 4885.. is that GVWR or curb weight?

I took 4885 then I added me 165, plus another 5060.

I am gonna keep trying to see if it comes up more often. According to the manual, accurate if done correctly.. which means it has to be pointed exactly straight infront of the car, their can't be a sloap, the unit can't be tilted. So I am thinking an average would be good as long as I can get the weight right.

I live near about an hour away from the michigan speedway where they have nascar races.. I wonder if they have special bring your own car days?

Default You're probably way off with that number unless you have 3 passengers and luggage...

Take Scott's number as a base and add on from there.

I will try today with 3460 as a base, but our cars are two years apart... possibly different weight?
