Default ATT! 89 100 Quattro needs help!!

I am a lucky owner of a 89 100 Quattro, which i bought used back in november 2002 with only 55,000 miles. I had a bad expierence with my first snow in the car, learning that the Anti-Lock brakes didnt exactly perform the way the name says. This also is true in water. I replaced worn brake pads, and couldnt find any major problems with anything. I think this could be liked to poor tires, yokohama's that seem to be more slicks then regular driving tires (where on when i bought the car)
Secondly, i am at a large lack of speed. With every option you could imagine, and a new stereo, the car is beautiful. Im constantly being past by punks with hondas, ect. I read a previous posting, that said there were air filters and chips that where built for this car, any idea where i could find them? I was thinking about throwing a turbo on from a 88 100 cs, a similar car, but has a smaller bore for the cylinder, smaller displacement and a different compression ratio. Is this route as bad as it sounds?
Id love to have some help, post if you have any ideas for me.

Default You really need to post to the 5000/200/V8 Forum - I believe you have....

...a C3-44 platform, 5-cyl. engine, where we here have C4-4A platforms with 12V-V6 engines.
