Well, do you want to keep driving the car? If you do, do the timing belt/water pump. If you don't, don't. The engines don't have a built in expiration date and many on here have 250k+.

Default Here are the brands that I used on my '96 A6 Avant with AFC engine....

TB Belt: Contitech (OEM P/N 078-109-119-D)
Rib Belt: Contitech 6 PK-1863
Coolant Pump: Graf w/ metal impeller (P/N PA 618A, OEM P/N 078–121–004)
TB Idler: Febi Bilstein (OEM P/N 078–109–244G)
TB Tensioner: SKF (OEM P/N 078-109-243K)
THermostat: Wahler (P/N 4274.87D, OEM P/N 078 121 113F)

You can buy these parts from on–line suppliers like autohausaz.com, or OEM parts at genuineaudiparts.com using the OEM P/Ns.

If you buy the kit from Blauparts, they will rent you the timing belt tools for $38 plus a deposit. These engines are very hard to do the timing belt properly on without the locking tools. You can 'mark and pray' but it's very easy to make an engine-destroying mistake or just get the timing off.

If they do not own the tools, run. They will 'mark and pray'. The long timing belts on these cars leave too much room for error with that method. It might go right, it might result in you needing to replace the heads after all the valves bend.

These are actually pretty straightforward engines to do with the tools, so I could see that. If you trust them otherwise you could buy the Blau kit and rent the tools. They even send step-by-step directions for all the details.
