Default Autocheck System

Is there any way to turn off the autocheck system? It is driving me crazy. It keeps beeping and it keeps telling me that I have a light out when all my lights are working. I have replaced both headlight sockets (they looked burned) and all of the bulbs in the rear. A very very iritating problem.

I would clean with a wire brush all the electrical connections and bulb holders. If you have the slightest corrosion, it will trigger the autocheck light. And if that doesn't work you can pull the two 1.5v lamps off(one with a red condom and one with a yellow one). I don't think there is a fuse for this system.

Some good information here.

I completely resoldered my own IC but you could get away with cleaning all connectors.
