Default Brake pad wear light driving me nuts

I tried everything to get rid of it. Including the jumper method, checking the cluster even the brown/black wire grounding to no available help. Anyone else have any idea how to get rid of it? I took the bulb out for now but this is only a temp solution.

According to the post you're suppose to ground the black/brown wire to the brown wire right. I did this to no luck could this be that the wire colors changed for a MY97?

Brown/black stripe wire on the green connector grounded to the solid brown wire on the same connector.
