Has anyone done it? I would like some info on this swap. I own an 95 A6Q wagon and want more power and a tuneable engine. I've heard that the 2.8 30v is a bolt on for the 12v c4 platform, but i can't find anyone who's done it. I would like to know what I need for this swap and what wiring tricks are nessesary.

to the version that works with the 30V engine. That requirement could be moreof a hassle than changing out the block itself. Suggest you buy a C5 A6 if you want the extra power of the 30V engine.

Huge work for small gain. If your car is automatic, you get to figure out how to get the engine and trans to talk to each other.

side of the Atlantic, we had some late C4's with the 30v, from late 95 until we got the C5 in late 97.
