Thought that pic looked familiar. What size filter do you think is needed?

Default thanks! :-)

Thank you so much for all the pictures showing where to clean out those dead leaves etc. I have only been an audi 100E 1992 driver/owner for three weeks and my wife has been complaining of the smell coming from the air vents. After reading all the articles in this thread, I went out and had a look and sure enough there was several dead leaves and a couple of dead wasps! Thanks again:-)

Default Glad to help. Here is another post with pics of

the filter in place. I have to say the odor is reduced greatly but still noticable on a hot day when the cars been sitting off. It think the condensation has cause mold/decay wtih the leaves and is in front of the evap.. I have to look into it.

https://forums.audiworld.com/a6100/msgs/12039.phtml</a

Default a question

thanks again marc. The pics have proved helpful:-)

I have a question for you: I have an Audi 100 Estate 1992 model and would like to convert it to a seven seater. Any ideas on how to do this and any info on where to get reasonably priced parts here in the UK would be most appreciated? Thanks again:-)

Default Re: Here is the airbox and a way to clean it

Marc and Charliebrown: thanks for the pic and the instructions. Don't think I tackle this for a few weeks, I really hurt my bad back changing the one under the dash in my Mercedes. Also, I still need to deal with the backup lights, as the Audi is due for state inspections next month and that's is part of the safety inspection.
