can you rig a switchblade keyfob to work like an IR remote, and how? those keys are so much cooler.

Some have said their dealers have programmed the switchblades to work with the RF system...
But I can't get a straight answer really... someone posted a part number a while back. I just use the one in my sig. =)

I'm talking about the IR keys lke mine the ones u have to point at the middle of the car.
I wanna know if it is possible to retrofit a switchblade key to do an IR job?

Oops, I confused myself there. I thought you had the RF system...
Honestly, I wouldn't even begin to try to convert my system to switchblade keys... just because the key needs to put off an IR signal and the switchblades are RF (remote frequency). That's trying to put a box through a circular hole.

Your guess is as good as mine. You need the transmitters to be "implanted" I guess...
Plus the routing for the central locking vacuum line was changed in '95... not sure if it was changed on the S6, though.
