Car not shifting

I have a 92 100CS and it will not shift, I noticed that the shift indicators on the dash are all lite, and do not change when you move the shift ****.
Is the car in fail safe mode or is it something else.

Your transmission is in limp mode.

Something is definitely wrong with it. Get it checked out and/or pull the codes.
