Central lock

Anyone know how to disable the function on my central locking that requires me to turn the key twice? Its basically a security system that only opens 1 door/boot when you turn the key once on the driver/passenger door or boot lock, but operates the entire system with another turn of the key.
Though this is a security system, it obstructs the normal working of my aftermarket remote system. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Actually, the "first" key turn disables the alarm system as well as turning on the interior lights. Try it and see.
I have been meaning to see if the alarm triggers if entry is attempted after the first key signal.
I have been "working" on the double pulse aspect in preparation for a APS25kb keyless /alarm on the lines of Maini's write up. This unit does not have double pulse option built in.
A single relay, correctly wired with a 1500mf capacitor can accomplish the double pulse as well.
The "Rattler" keyless entry/remote start unit has the double pulse option as does Valet 710t/711t units. Detailed information on these units is available on the web with a thorough search.
Lots of good information on auto electrics at www.12v.com (edit: sorry, that is "WWW.the12V.com)

You need to make some decisions.

Where could I find the activation of this double pulse? My manual is in German, so its a bit difficult to check.

I found what I think should be double pulse but it doesnt help me. What is does is double the pulse duration (beeeeeeep) not actually give two pulses (beep beep) if you see what I mean.
