climate control

I have a '96 A6, replaced heater core a few weeks ago as well as heater control valve. I also just had a rebuilt climate control head installed. It only blows hot air while using throttle. The control unit seems to have no effect while driving. It seems to work at idle, but driving, accelerating, just hot air. Could this be air in the system? Is there another potential problem I'm overlooking? Any help very much appreciated. John

you may have a bad servo motor or two...the ones that control the flaps that determine where the air is coming from and going to. bad servos are not an uncommon problem in these cars.
search the archives for 'servo' or 'flap'
check the 'climate control' section of the FAQ
