Cold air coming into cabin

Cold air coming into cabin
97A6QA. Driving home a few days ago I noticed that there was a major flow of very cold air coming in from outside (I assume), just above my left leg. This continued, even with heat turned up, and the cold air was not coming from the normal footwell vent (where the hot air was coming out). I checked in front of the firewall and under the cover behind the firewall to see if some rubber grommet had come off, letting in cold air, but saw nothing amiss. Also checked passenger side fresh air door to a/c condensor (?) and it was also shut.
So where could this cold air be coming from?

Re: Cold air coming into cabin
I know that this happened on my 92 100 S and I found that it wasnt the AC but that it was outside air making its way through the port on the speaker housing in the door. Go figure.
