Default Converted the remote to RF in my 93 today

I picked up a Prestige APS25 alarm system and interfaced it to the central lock/alarm computer using 3 relays. I didn't use the Prestige as an alarm system, just as a receiver for the factory alarm. I can now open my doors from far away, unlike the IR, where I had to be next to the car pointing that huge key at just the right spot. What a difference!

Could either or both of you post a "how-to" on your RF conversion? TIA

Default ok.. Im lost

Are you saying that your stock alarm still functions and the only bit of the pretige you are using is the RF portion?

That sounds perfect, can you provide a simple writeup and what you have done?

JC Ehitney has a remote keyless entry for $59 (made by Bulldog), works fine, easy interface.
