Did the audi 100s for 94 ever come with an alarm??
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/40173/0056.jpg"></center><p>I was wondering if the 94 audi ever came with an alarm because I only got the big audi key with the led light when I bought my car in '98 the car does have all the ops exept the quattro awd and the delete sunroof for that year so I was wondering about the because my friend has a 95 a6 and he has the alarm

Look under your rear seat driver side...
If you see a part number 8D0907 335A then you have a remote locking system but need remote.... these remote can be got from a dealer for $120 each and you can program them. Please be careful this has an FCC ID which is of a different series starting with H......... so you cannot program the newer remotes to this box.
I went ahead and followed the technote for adding in the after market remote locking system...see URL... and it works better thaqn the Audi System... in fact I bought the Valet 711T from Radios and more.com for just $69 including 2 remotes... and it works great...

I believe that the infra-red remote key and alarm was for the CS models only, and ....
...the S model had central locking (key-operated) and the ignition key had a "light" (flashlight?), but no alarm. IMHO

mine has one!
I have a '94 100S, and it has an alarm, but no remote. Alarm is key activated. When you do a double pump on the lock, it locks all doors, and emits a chirp...indicating that alarm is activated.
