Default Do all Audi Radios Stay on even after key is removed?
Do all Audi Radios Stay on even after key is removed? The radio in my 1994 100S does. I've never seen any other car where this happens. I remember seeing the same thing in a 1995 A6 that a freind was testing a couple of years ago.

If this is how it's supposed to be, has anyone ever moified theirs to go off when ignition is turned off?

Yes, or they can be turned on without the key ON.

Not mine. You can still turn the radio on by hitting the power button.

Default The Bose head unit with solid dial stays on, while the wider Delta head unit with push-in **** ...
Turns off when the key is removed. Both can be turned on without the key.
