but i dont know what to do. Should i just have a shop take care of everything (including finding parts) or should i buy the parts and give it to him?
I called around and im getting 350-400 for parts and labor on 4 pads and 2front rotors. Is that too much???

the surface and they just bite like mad and they are very progressive and noise free. Dust is not too bad either.

Does the brand of rotors really make a difference...isnt my main concern purchasing good pads (maybe Axxis) what about PBRs-how are they?

whenever you're servicing your brakes. Aside from OEM rotors at the dealer, top brand picks are Brembo, ATE, and Zimmerman (all three brands make OEM rotors). Avoid the cheap rotors made in China, Taiwan, or Korea - these cheap rotors use lower grade metal castings that potentially lack the OEM-specified surface hardness (one of the reasons they can sell them cheaper).
