Is the engine temp. sensor and the water temp. sensor the same thing?

Is the engine temp. sensor and the water temp. sensor the same thing?

Default Yeah, but there are like 3 of them...

one runs the radiator fan, one the temp gauge, and one the multi-function display. I think that's all of the coolant sensors.
