Default This ever happen to anyone? Backing out of garage after car start up..

after getting out of the garage, I let go of the brake to back up a bit quicker out of the driveway. There is a very very slight small incline, but the second i touch/tap/apply the brake again, it almost seems like ABS kicks in and you can feel the brake pedal stutter like when you slam on the brakes in snow and ABS kicks in. However, its for a split second, feel about 3-4 stutters and then its back to normal. Any ideas?

Try cleaning your abs sensors on the wheels, it helped me solve something like that

Default My girlfriend has a driveway that's slanted

and my car does that every time. I start her up, put my foot on the brake, release the e-brake, put her into reverse, and begin backing down the driveway, where it then blips 3 or 4 times, and then is fine.

I wondered why it was doing that...

Default That happened right after I did new rear pads and calipers

It went away when I got to do the fronts. Most likely dirty sensors. Good thing I did my brakes before my FL trip as several idiots called for panic stops.

Mine does that sometimes too on start up, only 2-3 seconds. Never worried about it.

Default Completely normal...self test of the system

found this today while researching another problem.

Bentley says, "When switching the ignition on and driving at 5-6 km/h (3-4 mph), the system conducts a selftest. The switching of the relay and the start-up noise of the hydraulic unit return pump may be audible. Do not replace the hydraulic unit due to complaints about this noise. Another noticeable part of the self-test is a slight vibration at the brake pedal."
