Factory phone system used with my cell phone?

I was wondering if anyone out there has been successful or concidered tapping into their factory phone equipment to be used with their own cell phone? Is it possible to splice somehow into the factory mic in the front pillar, as well as the factory speaker with a common pin connection in their cell phone? A true hands free system, like the factory system works. Maybe use the socket for the original handset and find a donor handset and cut the cord, then splice in a donor pin connector. What do you think?

It's fully wired throughout the car, from the handset in the armrest, the speaker in the center console, the mic in the A-pillar, the antenna, & the primary connector to the phone transmitter in the trunk (sedan) or the left rear (Avant). It might be possible, but would probably require significant re-wiring to make it work.

Well, it might be worth it, if someone has already figured it out, since I dont have the patience or time to go "discovering". It sure would be cool to have it work though..
