Default Failed NOx emissions

I just failed my Connecticut state emissions retest for 1992 100s. I failed the nitrogen emissions section which is usually due to oxygen sensors, EGR, or catalytic convertor problems amongst other things. I fixed the EGR passage as shown by ARK and IqDOU. I will take it to a mechanic tommorow, I was wondering how much I should expect to pay for oxygen sensor and catalytic convertor replacement?

The O2 sensor isn't much, but the Cat converter will cost you some serious bucks. My wife had a 1993 CS and replacing the catalytic converter ran us 1200 bucks.

Pray that it is the sensor instead.

Note: You have two O2 sensors. They're not too hard to change yourself (with the right tools).
