Default finding radio code for 97 Audi A6 Quattro wagon
Disconnected car battery, putting radio unknowingly into SAFE mode, but don't have the original code anywhere to reactivate, can anyone tell me how/where to find the serial # to possibly get the code with, without having to go to the dealer & spend an arm & a leg? Many thanks. CG

I heard someone emailed about 30 dealers and 2 of then offered to just give them the code

Default serial # is stamped on the side of the radio
call around to several dealers one will give it to you over the phone

that would be me and it was more like 50 dealers but it worked and i got the code.....FREE !!!
