Default It's easy. Take the big nut off the part that popped thru the broken mount.

mark the position of the triangular mount with a sharpie, all the way around it.

remove the 3 nuts holding it to the car body.

jack up the car so the strut can be pushed back down into the fender well.

reassemble in the right position as marked.

Doug, have you done yours yet? any good photos?

Default There are several pages in the FAQ listing good parts suppliers. FWIW, I'd stay away from

Meyle brand suspension parts.

Autohausaz.com has them for $23

I've gotten a few good ones at salvage yards over the years.

So did the failure damage you hood?

Default I'd be very cautious not to buy a Meyle mount. I've been through a pair of "new" ones already and...

have gone back to finding good used factory mounts instead.

Default had this problem after switching to Bilsteins this year...broke 5 mounts since...

never when used stock Boge's. I think not having bump stop(#2) & cup cover(#1) on a Bilstein setup is killing the rubber mounts or the Meyle brand is just 'crap'! Looking for OEM now...even used.
